Some five years ago this wonderful MG A 1600 Roadster was registered in the Netherlands. The car we have here is the powerful 1600 MK1, in production between 1959-1960. In the recent past this MG A underwent a full ‘Bare-Metal’ restoration and full mechanical overhaul. This restoration was very professionally done, with a well-documented, complete restoration rapport. This MG A is in excellent condition. The ‘Bare-Metal’ restored body panels are sublimely straight and perfectly aligned. The paintwork and chrome elements are fantastic. The, as good as new, underbody does not disappoint. Everything imaginable has either been replaced or restored. The engine, gearbox, brakes, complete suspension and instrument panel have all been restored as well as a new cable loom being installed. It has a ‘British Racing Green’ finish with a ‘Biscuit’ leather interior trim, a black hood and ‘Biscuit’ tonneau cover. It also has been fitted with a stainless steel exhaust and luggage rack.
