Description
GENERAL
The W110 200 was one of Mercedes' range of "Fintail" (German: Heckflosse) models, and was part of their line of entry-level four-cylinder sedans.
The second 200-series was introduced in 1965 and featured twin carburettors, relocated indicators below the fenders, two horizontal trim strips instead of chrome-trimmed tail fins and air outlets with chrome trim on the C-pillars (identical to the W111 models).
This example is presented in black paint work with a grey roof and a beautiful crimson red leather interior.
EXTERIOR
This car is finished in a black of light grey two-tone paintjob that looks very clean and doesn’t require any extra attention.
All chrome work seems to have been renewed recently.
INTERIOR
The crimson red interior in this W110 looks fully original and in good condition. The original boucle carpets look hardly used at all.
All door panels and headlining also look very clean.
The original wooden dashboard looks neat and all instruments are said to be in working condition.
ENGINE
The 2.0 L 4-cylinder petrol engine starts on the first try and runs quietly, with no strange noises. Maintenance history is unknown.
BODY
The underside of the body and chassis look neat for a car this age.
