The Mercedes-Benz C107 450 SLC 5.0 with FIA-HTP Group 4 homologation is an absolute classic in the rally world. The car was completely rebuilt for Group 4 in 2011 after a thorough partial restoration. A FIA car passport for historic vehicles is available (Historic Technical Passport - DMSB). Among other things, an electromagnetic and an electronic odometer from Prestel-Gemmer were installed as well as a keyed sports steering wheel from Toora. The standard 3-speed automatic transmission was replaced by one with four gears, and a hydraulic fly-off handbrake was also fitted.

The body was completely restored by Knöbel Historic Motorsport (Germany), including a new reinforced safety cell, homologated racing brakes & Reiger suspension. The engine was rebuilt by Väth Motorentechnik (Aschaffenburg, Germany) for racing use and produces about 268 hp (dyno diagram available).
