"The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is a range of executive cars manufactured in various engine and body configurations. Produced since 1953, the E-Class falls midrange in the Mercedes line-up and has been marketed worldwide across five generations. By the launch of the facelifted W124 in 1993 fuel-injection was ubiquitous in Mercedes-Benz engines, the E was adopted as a prefix (i.e. E 220) and the model line referred to officially as the E-Class. All generations of the E-Class offered either rear wheel drive or Mercedes 4Matic four-wheel drive system. Historically, the E-Class is Mercedes-Benz best-selling model, with more than 13 million sold by 2015.
Originally registered on 27th May 1995, this E300 D has been the vendors reliable transport from his home in Berkshire to his residence in Orkney hence the odometer reading. Having had just four previous keepers and owned since 2004, this Mercedes-Benz presents in good order, it has recently been wax-oiled due to a small weld required noted on the previous MoT test certificate and a recent refurb of the entire fuel delivery system which demonstrates the owners diligent maintenance.
