Dieser Mercedes-Benz A45 wurde aufgebaut durch Bonk-Motorsport nach Vorlage des AMG CLA Cup Brasilien. Beim Aufbau wurden original HWA Teile verwendet um das Fahrzeug optimal für Einsätze in der RCN und andern Langstreckenrennen vorzubereiten.
Der Umbau umfasst Motorölkühler, Getriebeölkühler, Hinterachse mit modifizierter Sperre und separater Ölkühlung. Die Bremsanlage der Vorderachse wurde auf AP-Racing umgebaut, mit entsprechenden Rennbremsbelägen vorne und hinten und ist somit für die Langstrecke standfest. Ein Nordschleifen taugliches KW-Rennfahrwerk rundet die technischen Optimierungen ab.
Weitere sicherheitsrelevante Modifikationen, wie der Einbau eines zertifizierten Wichers Käfigs, sowie ein Recaro Sitz inkl. Schroth Gurten und einer Löschanlage.
Als Bereifung für die Rennstrecke sind Motec Felgen in 18 Zoll, mit 2 Satz Hankook Slick und Wet inklusive.
Nach den Umbauten wurde ein DMSB-Wagenpass ausgestellt, in der Gruppe 24h-Spezial, VLN-Produktionswagen. Der Wagenpass ist aktuell und das Auto sofort einsatzbereit.
Für den Straßenbetrieb wurden noch zwei OMP First-R Sitze eingebaut und die AMG 19 Zoll Felgen mit Straßenbereifung montiert. Alle Umbauten wurden in die Fahrzeugpapiere eingetragen, somit kann der A45 wahlweise als Tracktool mit Straßenzulassung oder als Rennfahrzeug genutzt werden.
Nach Abschluss des Aufbaus wurde der A45 AMG einige Male in der RCN sowie weiteren 4std Rennen erfolgreich eingesetzt.

This Mercedes-Benz A45 was built by Bonk-Motorsport based on the AMG CLA Cup Brazil. Original HWA parts were used during construction to optimally prepare the vehicle for use in the RCN and other long-distance races.
The conversion includes engine oil cooler, transmission oil cooler, rear axle with modified lock and separate oil cooling. The brake system of the front axle was converted to AP-Racing, with appropriate racing brake pads at the front and rear and is therefore stable for long distances. A KW racing suspension suitable for the Nordschleife rounds off the technical optimizations.
Other safety-relevant modifications, such as the installation of a certified Wichers cage, as well as a Recaro seat including Schroth belts and an extinguishing system.
As tires for the racetrack, Motec 18-inch rims with 2 sets of Hankook Slick and Wet are included.
After the modifications, a DMSB Wagenpass was issued in the 24h special group, VLN production car. The car pass is up-to-date and the car is immediately ready for use.
For road use, two OMP First-R seats were installed and the AMG 19 inch rims with road tires were installed. All conversions were entered in the vehicle documents, so the A45 can either be used as a road-legal track tool or as a racing vehicle.
After the construction was completed, the A45 AMG was successfully used a number of times in the RCN and other 4-hour races.
