Description

This beautiful ivory white Mercedes 230/6 (the six-cylinder) from the W114 series drives very well and was built in 1969, it was always driven in Sweden. Nice detail, this is a W114 from the first series!

The car had a Swedish periodic inspection on 24/11/2021.

The Mercedes is in very good condition, everything works and the car can be used immediately. It currently has original Mercedes W114 steel rims with winter tyres and studs (these winter tyres have small steel nails so they have a good grip on ice. These tyres are only allowed in Scandinavia). A set of steel rims and very good, mounted summer tyres are also included, see photos.

With a 2.3L 6-cylinder engine with carburettor, 120 hp and a properly shifting 4-speed automatic. The engine accelerates well, it runs quietly, but the idle speed should be slightly higher with a cold engine to prevent stalling when shifting gears.

The Mercedes comes with deregistered EU export documents for easy registration in the buyer’s country.

It is very nice, the paintwork has been touched up in places, but it was done well.

Lights, windscreen wipers and so on, everything works.

There’s a small spot that needs to be welded at some point under the original rubber mat in the boot.

The Mercedes rubber mats seen in the front footwells are of course also included. The passenger foot area on the right has an electric connection for additional heating, not tested. The door key is missing, however, it is easy to copy.

If you are looking for a W114 in good condition, then this one is really appealing!

In summary, a lovely classic.

The car is in Hengevelde, the Netherlands. The seller can arrange relatively inexpensive transport throughout the EU, even now during the coronavirus crisis. Shipping is not a problem as this would be done by a professional transport company. This Classic Car is for sale on Catawiki. To have more information or to place a bid click on the "BID NOW" button.
