Chassis 500075 was dispatched from the Mercedes-Benz factory on the 13th April 1956. It was sold new to Richard Hall of Texas who was the business partner of Carroll Shelby and brother of American racing driver, Jim Hall. The car was purchased by its second owner in 1966 and remained with him for 38 years.

It is offered in its original colour combination and presents very well throughout following an earlier restoration. It is a total matching numbers example including its chassis, body, engine and gearbox and is fresh from a major service and by model experts Martin Cushway Engineering.

Following the recent work, the car is mechanically ‘on the button’ and comes complete with a very well-documented history file, an instruction manual, belly pans and tool kit.
