To get right to the point: at the time, the fastest street-legal McLaren ever built. Bizarre figures and handling, but under McLaren's motto ‘Day-to-day usability and driveability’. A supercar that is day-to-day usable: it's a difficult task, but McLaren succeeded. Equipped with relatively large luggage space and many available options. The Spider was introduced in 2017, two years after the coupé, and this is the most popular version. This Spider Launch Edition was built in 2018 and delivered new in Dubai. It was registered on Dutch registration plates in 2022. Because the roof is made of aluminium, the Spider weighs only 48 kg heavier than the coupé. How wonderful it is to be able to enjoy the sunshine and the insane sound of the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, placed in the rear. The engine is mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox, which of course can be controlled by flippers on the steering wheel. With carbon-ceramic brakes, the McLaren can be conquered to a standstill at dizzying speeds.
Inside, pleasures include alcantara-covered seats with yellow stitching (Carbon Black Alcantara with Meyer Yellow Stitch) a high-end Bowers & Wilkins 12-speaker surround audio system and advanced touchscreen display. Naturally, the car features race and track mode and launch control. Furthermore, the car has parking sensors at both the front and rear and a reversing camera. The service history shows that the car has been serviced almost annually by authorised McLaren dealers. Included with the car are the instruction booklet, service and warranty booklet and a 2022 valuation report. According to the valuation report, the McLaren is in concours condition and that is nothing too much to say: both its optical and technical condition are outstanding. The last major service was carried out in 2021 and most recent service on 30-8-2022 (Louwman Exclusive). An extended McLaren warranty can be added upon request.

Um es auf den Punkt zu bringen: der damals schnellste straßenzugelassene McLaren, der je gebaut wurde. Bizarre Werte und Fahrverhalten, aber unter McLarens Motto „Alltagstauglichkeit und Fahrbarkeit“. Ein Supersportwagen, der alltagstauglich ist: ein schwieriges Unterfangen, aber McLaren ist es gelungen. Ausgestattet mit einem relativ großen Gepäckraum und vielen verfügbaren Optionen. Der Spider wurde 2017 eingeführt, zwei Jahre nach dem Coupé, und dies ist die beliebteste Version. Dieser Spider Launch Edition wurde 2018 gebaut und neu in Dubai ausgeliefert. Er wurde 2022 mit niederländischen Kennzeichen zugelassen. Ausgeführt in der spektakulärsten und begehrtesten Komposition: „Sicilian Yellow“ (Elite-Lackierung), kontrastiert mit schwarzen Aluminiumfelgen und Karbon-Elementen, wie dem beeindruckenden Novitec-Spoiler. Da das Dach aus Aluminium gefertigt ist, wiegt der Spider nur 48 kg mehr als das Coupé. Wie schön ist es, die Sonne und den irren Sound des 3,8-Liter-Twin-Turbo-V8-Motors im Heck zu genießen. Das Triebwerk ist an ein Siebengang-Automatikgetriebe gekoppelt, das natürlich über Wippen am Lenkrad gesteuert werden kann. Mit Karbon-Keramik-Bremsen lässt sich der McLaren bei schwindelerregenden Geschwindigkeiten bis zum Stillstand bezwingen.
Zu den Annehmlichkeiten im Innenraum gehören alcantarabezogene Sitze mit gelben Nähten (Carbon Black Alcantara with Meyer Yellow Stitch), ein High-End-Surround-Audiosystem von Bowers & Wilkins mit 12 Lautsprechern und ein fortschrittliches Touchscreen-Display. Natürlich verfügt der Wagen über einen Renn- und Streckenmodus sowie eine Launch Control. Außerdem verfügt der Wagen über Parksensoren vorne und hinten sowie eine Rückfahrkamera. Aus der Servicehistorie geht hervor, dass der Wagen fast jährlich
