Beautiful first-generation Mazda RX-7 (SA) in very good condition. In the original and beautiful colour Mach Green metallic with black interior. There is no second one for sale in Europe in this colour and condition! Maybe not even in the world.

Very rare.

Originally delivered in Belgium in this colour (confirmed by Mazda) and had only two owners. Recently, the car has been completely repainted and technically almost everything has been renewed. The car is therefore in very good condition and the 1.1-litre Wankel engine runs great.

The original rear spoiler is currently not fitted but is supplied and can be fitted should you like it better.

In 1978, Mazda launched this RX-7 'SA22' as the successor to the Savanna RX-3. Naturally equipped with the Wankel engine, typical of Mazda sports cars of the time. This was partly due to tax reasons in homeland Japan where cars with displacement above 1500cc had to pay much more road tax. However, the Wankel engine had more advantages namely a compact build, minimum moving parts, low-vibration running and tremendous acceleration. Mazda pioneered the Wankel engine which, despite a small engine capacity, still produced a lot of power. Mazda continued to use and develop the Wankel engine until 2008 (RX-8).

On the Dutch and Belgian markets, the RX-7 was promoted in showrooms with the slogan 'Mazdadig snel'. The original leaflets and stickers are present. 0-100 km/h in 10 seconds and a top speed of 190 km/h were fine figures. Still a great experience to drive.
