Description
Maserati Quattroporte V6 (early model). The body designed by Marcello Gandini is simple yet refined and very compact. It can be said to be a ‘plain’ Quattroporte, but the interior is very much Maserati, with wood used throughout, which was a feature of the early and mid-season models. The unique wood steering wheel is another attraction of this car. Of course, the LaSalle almond-shaped gold clock shines, which is typical of Maseratis of this era.
The engine is a 2.8-litre liquid-cooled V6 DOHC 4-valve intercooled twin-turbo with 285 hp. The V6 offers a light, slightly sportier ride, while the V8 engine in the higher models offers a more robust driving experience. Some may be shocked by the torque and extension that is more than meets the eye.
The Quattroporte presented here is a V6 model with a beautiful AVORIO interior.
The Alcantara on the roof is drooping in the rear section, but the dash has no cracks and the wood is in very good condition, perfect for those looking for a beautiful Quattroporte.
