Description
The fourth generation Range Rover, codenamed L405, was exhibited in September 2012 at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. It uses an all-aluminium monocoque unitary body structure, instead of the third generation's steel unibody making it the first production 4x4 SUV to do so, resulting in a reduction of 420kg compared to its predecessor and transforming the once heavy agricultural Range Rover to an elite SUV that has become the market leader.
Overfinch, a British company, has a history rooted in enhancing luxury 4x4s, particularly Range Rovers. Founded in 1975, it began as 'Shuler' and was known for mechanical modifications and performance upgrades. Overfinch evolved to become a leading bespoke modifier, specialising in high-end Range Rovers with bespoke interiors and unique bodywork and they have a legacy of collaboration with luxury brands like Holland & Holland.
This truly stunning example of the L405 Autobiography Overfinch was first registered 3rd September 2015 and cost in excess of £190,000 when new. Presented in Santorini Black with bespoke leather trim, it has been owned by our vendor since new and covered a mere 32,300 miles. Transferred from company ownership to his personal car in 2023 but owned from new. With a comprehensive service history, garaged when not on the road and with every extra you can throw at it, this 5.0 litre V8 monster looks impressive and goes like a train but offers refinement like a private jet! A car for all occasions. Consigned by Mathew Priddy
