EXTERIOR
Having covered just 557 miles from new, this Heritage Edition Defender presents in immaculate condition. Finished in an exclusive coat of Grasmere Green Metallic with contrasting white roof and silver hardware, the squared silhouette of this 110 perfectly captures the classic defender charm that made it such an icon over its nearly 40 year production run.

The thought behind the Heritage edition really becomes clear when delving into the finer details; the use of the original Land Rover logo on the bonnet and mud flaps, and the HUE 166 badge painted on the left front wing (referring to the registration of ‘Huey’) are both wonderful details that pays tribute to the oldest known land rover still in existence.

INTERIOR
The idea behind the Heritage Edition was to create the ultimate modern interpretation if the original Defender, and nowhere is that more clear than the interior. The design and layout is classic Land Rover; with folding rear seats, robust rubber matts and durable fabric seats for easy cleaning after loading up the car with muddy boots and pets, it still feels like a utilitarian workhorse.

Thankfully there are some modern refinements; with heated front seats, electric front windows and A/C now making the interior a perfectly comfortable place to be. Combined with a much higher standard of fit and finish the Heritage Edition sufferers far less from the typical rattles and shakes synonymous with classic Land Rovers.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Another key detail of this Defender is the engine, with Land Rover opting to fit a 4 Cylinder Turbo Diesel unit instead of the usual 5 cylinder. Coincidentally the original Land Rover also had a 4 cylinder engine a further salute (although probably not intentional) to the car’s past

Of course straight line speed was never the defenders strong point, with a top speed of 90 mph but paired to a low range gearbox with locking differentials it can still tackle the most rugged of terrains without breaking a sweat.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Finished in tonal Grasmere Green, heavy duty 16″ steel wheels complete the sturdy aesthetic of the Defender and present in near perfect condition, free from any discernible blemishes or scuffs. Premium Goodyear Wrangler off-road tyres sit at each corner with excellent depth all around, having covered just over 500 miles.
HISTORY FILE
This Defender 110 was one of just 400 Heritage Edition cars produced, supplied new by Land Rover Westover on 27/11/2015 before being sold to the 2nd and current owner of the vehicle just a month later. The car has since been back to Land Rover dealers 3 times at the following intervals;

22/12/16 – Land Rover Hunters Guildford – 432 Miles

08/12/17- Land Rover Hunters Guildford – 480 Miles

23/11/18 – Inchcape Land Rover Guildford, – 533 Miles

The car was purchased as part of a collection and so has spent almost all of its life in storage, covering just 24 miles since its last service.

Present with the Defender is the original bill of sale, Invoices for every service, a limited production Heritage Edition book and 2 sets of keys.
