Description
The Land Rover Defender traces its roots to the original Land Rover from 1948. However, the name Defender only emerged in 1990 from the need to distinguish this model from the Solihull brand's new products.
In total, over 68 years, more than 2 million “Defender” were manufactured, taking on all types of shapes and functions and being used by Kings, Queens, Farmers, Firefighters, Police and Soldiers.
This 2001 unit was configured with the reliable 2500cc 5-cylinder diesel known as the TD5. A power unit with electronic injection, easy to maintain and with enough torque to overcome any obstacle.
This Defender 90 shows 102,000 km on its odometer and has recently undergone a “restomod” style restoration. It is now dressed in Mint Green Metallic, an original color from the Land Rover catalog that contrasts very well with the military-style brown roof. It also has new Yokohama Geolandar tires, galvanized bumpers and trims and a Bluetooth radio.
