Description
The Lancia Flaminia was one of the most advanced and exclusive automobiles of the late 50s and early 60s. It is no surprise then that the elegant Italian was very popular with film stars like Brigitte Bardot and Marcelo Mastroianni as well as racing drivers including Juan Manuel Fangio and Peter Collins. This noble Flaminia Berlina, one of only 599 examples built, with the fantastic 2.8 litre V6 engine, was delivered to Switzerland and 1st registered on the 16th of March 1967 in the Argovia canton. The early history of the elegant saloon is not known. The last long-term owner clearly cherished his Lancia and provided it with all the maintenance and care necessary. For health reasons the car has only been driven for around 100 kilometres in the last five years. Not long ago, the interior was restored which now presents itself in very good condition. The coachwork was repainted several years ago and presents itself in good condition. The engine is running smoothly on the 4-speed gearbox with column shift is working correctly. The most recent Veteran MOT was completed in August 2019.
