One of the most successful manufacturers in world rallying, Lancia has more than 74 victories and 11 World Rally Championships, no less than six achieved with the Integrale, a car with 46 World Rally Championship wins to its credit. Lancia was the manufacturer best prepared for the move from Group B to Group A in 1987. They had in production a car which was far better suited for rallying than any other on the market. The Delta 4WD won all the major events in 1986, the year Group B cars were banned, and became world champion in 1987, evolving from 1987 to 1992 through Integrale, Integrale 16V and finally Integrale Evoluzione guises.
