The DL 25 was one of the most popular tractor water cooled produced by Lamborghini. The 2 cylinder engine at the start was made by MWM that in 1955 sell the engine to Lamborghini Trattori. It was produced between 1952 and 1960 in 916 units and about 200 are known to survive to this day.
The diesel engine have a capacity of 1750 cm 3 with 24 hp and move a 4 speed plus rev gearbox for run of a maximum speed of 16 km h.
It cost in 1954 1.400.000 Lire (italian money before €).
This model of tractor with MWM engine or Lamborghini engine is considered the tractor that put Lamborghini on the map and gave him the wealth to become a customer of Ferrari and start the history of Lamborghini Automobili.
