The Jeep CJ-7 is the 7th generation of the CJ models. This model is from 1984 and was regarded as 'The Last of a Great Breed'. The CJ models were produced from 1976 until 1986. During all these years, 10 generations of the CJ models have been designed. In total, nearly 380,000 cars had been built at the end of production. The main difference between the CJ-5 and the CJ-7 was the chassis, which consisted of two parallel c-shaped beams running the full length of the vehicle. To improve handling, the rear section of the chassis was widened so the springs and shock absorbers could be mounted closer to the outside of the bodywork. In addition to the standard two-speed transfer case, the CJ-7 also received an optional automatic four-wheel drive system, the Quadra-Trac.

This one is equipped with a 4.2-ltr inline six-cylinder engine that produces approx. 110 hp. This CJ-7 has a beautiful red coat of paint / lacquer and a black leather interior. It is a neat and classic 4-seater convertible that offers nothing but fun. When you run into trouble, the powerful Warn winch is always there to help you out.

The powerful 6 cylinder proved its strength when it participated in the CarChallenge in 2011. There, 9,000 kilometres were covered, which this Jeep endured without any problems. The route of this road trip was: driving from Suriname to Peru, straight through South America. Through the Amazon and across the Andes, through jungles, mountain passes and salt flats - a journey of nine thousand kilometres, at least three thousand of which in places where there is not even a road. The route starts in Paramaribo and then leads via French Guiana to Brazil, Bolivia and finally the Peruvian capital Lima.

Regarding documentation, several invoices are available. The original American car still has nice bodywork and the interior looks neat. The same applies to the aluminium rims, which still have a nice appearance. For its South American adventure, about € 6,500 was spent on repairs to fully prepare it for his road trip.

Powerful and classic. It had its adventures and cannot wait for the ones to come!
