The Willys Jeep became famous as the Allied Army's all-rounder during World War II. Jeep is the transcription of the pronunciation of the acronym for General Purpose. Produced in large numbers, the Jeep conquered Europe and beyond: its robust construction combined with reliability made it one of the formidable weapons for winning the war. In 1945 the Jeep became the first four-wheel-drive production car. Initially intended for professional use, it was not long before it became a symbol and people began to use it as a fun car for recreational purposes. The CJ, as it came to be known, became an icon, flanking the military image of the early Willys with that of a young, carefree car.
Those who love to have fun will no doubt fall in love with this eccentric 1980 Jeep CJ5. Initially painted in Cardinal Red with a beige interior, it has been cleverly customised in the rare Lamborghini colour of Arancio Borealis, equipped with a 4-speed manual gearbox, and powered by a 5-litre V8 engine, it is one of the most fun cars on the market today. For enjoying the warm weather and trips both to the sea and to the mountains, it is without doubt a choice for those who love to enjoy life... in the open air!
