This XKR convertible with its compressor equipped 363hp V8 was first registered on the 20th December 2000 and sold to its first British owner through Jaguar Lancaster Sevenoaks. In 2004 the Jaguar was taken over by its second owner ane, in July 2010, after a suffering engine damage at 95’800 miles, the engine was completely overhauled and improved camchain tensioners were installed. Shortly afterwards, the XKR was taken over by a Jaguar enthusiast, despite or perhaps because of its right-hand drive and imported into Switzerland. Around 4 years ago, the softtop hydraulics were overhauled. At the end of 2020, the cabriolet with then 111’250 miles driven, was taken over by the vendor. In 2021 he had the forward brake callipers replaced together with four new tyres and a new battery. After a few brief outings he parked the car in his garage and because of lack of use has now decided to sell the XKR. For that the cabriolet received a check-over in February 2025 and both fuel pumps were replaced. Now the Jaguar presents itself in technically good condition with the coachwork and interior showing age correct signs of use. The last MOT was completed in February 2025 allowing the new owner to use his powerful cabriolet immediately.
