Collector's title
Replacing the MK2 series, the XJ appeared in 1968. That same year, the new Jaguar (designed by the brilliant Sir William Lyons) is elected by CAR MAGAZINE as ""car of the year"". The performances are up to the mark: 0-100 in 9 s and 205 km/h in top speed. Then the 12-cylinder version appeared in 1972, this one was titled ""THE BEST CAR IN THE WORLD"" with leather, burr walnut and even more power: 0-100 km/h in 7,4 s and 233 km/h... Comfort and silence in this flagship and performance worthy of a sports car!
The model we present to you is in a very nice state of presentation. The bodywork, very clean and sound, is dressed in a very nice satin black paint that suits it perfectly. The beige leather interior is very well made and matches perfectly with the black bodywork. The roof liner needs to be re-tensioned though, the only work required for the interior. The car is sold with its manuals and a large file of invoices attesting to the care the owner has taken with this Jaguar. During its test drive, the car was safe, without any suspicious noise and pleasant to drive with the automatic transmission. So this jaguar is a very nice opportunity to have fun behind the wheel, while having a high quality driving comfort.
