On the 10th July 1975 this fantastic Jaguar XJ12 Coupe was first supplied in France. In 1984 it became part of the collection owned by Mr. Imhoof and was registered in Basel, Switzerland. Later he took the car over to Florida, where he housed his collection. This car has enjoyed the better of two worlds, being a European car kept in a good climate. This has probably contributed to the cars authentic and good preservation. Last year after having had the car for over 35 years, the collector decided to reduce the size of his collection and sell the Jaguar. This XJ 12 has the original ‘English White’ finish over a black leather interior trim and matching black vinyl roof. The well-kept interior exudes a wonderful patina. This Jag comes with a supple 5.3 12-cylinder engine, Borg-Warner automatic transmission, Power-Lok limited slip diff, electric windows, aircon, fog lights, rear window heating, wooden dashboard and tinted windows. The fine bodywork is straight with excellent fitting body panels. The paintwork and chrome details are particularly nice. The sound underbody is absolutely rust-free. Last month a major service was carried out, whereby the fuel system and tanks, the cooling system, drivebelt, radiator and aircon were thoroughly overhauled. This Jaguar is now in perfect working order and ready to be enjoyed. It naturally comes with many invoices detailing the care lavished over the years. In short, this very authentic European V12 Jaguar Coupe has a wonderful fitting provenance.
