Description

- Surely the best V12 Roadster available anywhere! - Jaguar Club North America 100 point Concours winner - Multiple national championship Concours wins - Beautiful Old English White with Russet Red leather interior - Fitted with manual transmission from new - Accompanied by original book and factory brochure - A collectors dream find The year 1974 was the end of the road for the Jaguar E-Type. Perhaps the most celebrated car to carry the Jaguar name, the E-type remained elegant, sophisticated and sporting throughout its production run. The Series 3 V-12 models were touted as being wonderful grand tourers, capable of cruising all day at high speed and incredibly comfortable while doing do. Built in March of 1974 and finished in Old English White over a Red interior, just as it is seen today, this particular E-Type was delivered to its first owner, Peter Fazzone of Milldale, Connecticut, shortly thereafter. Fazzone drove the car sparingly over the course of the following 30 years before deciding to have his beloved E-Type fully restored to its original glory during the early 1990s. The car was entrusted to Stew Jones of Winstead, Connecticut, who did an exceptional job in bringing the Jaguar to concours-quality condition. Following the restoration, it was noted as being the first V-12 E-Type to receive a score of 100 points at a JCNA National Concours. It received multiple first-place trophies in his ownership and was even dubbed the 1994 JCNA National Champion. Even years after the completion of the restoration, the Jaguar still presents exceptionally well and is in immaculate condition. This E-Type is accompanied by a complete photo album of the restoration process, showcasing the attention to detail and exquisite workmanship. Not only does this E-Type boast a wonderful provenance and the pedigree of being a national award winner, but it is also fully road ready in every regard. Whether its next custodian should decide to drive the car or return it to the JCNA events, it will surely not disappoint.
