Description
The E type from the third Series with the legendary and fantastic V12 engine was the last incarnation of the successful Jaguar sportster. This example, equipped with an automatic gearbox, was, like so many of the 6’119 left hand drive roadsters built, exported to the USA and registered for the first time on the 28th March 1973 through Leyland Motor Sales in Carlstadt, New Jersey. Equipped with an automatic gearbox, air conditioning and chrome wire wheels, the V12 suited period typical American taste. Apparently, the roadster received a restoration years ago and was imported into Switzerland around 10 years ago. In 2020 the E-Type was taken over by the vendor who decided to have his Jaguar repainted in the original old English white. Since then the Jaguar has been driven very little and consequently presents itself in good to very good condition. The 5.3 litre V12 is running smoothly and the automatic gearbox is shifting as it should. The red leather interior presents itself beautifully with very light signs of use. The last Veteran MOT was completed in august 2021.
