This car was hand picked in the United States for the fact that it was unusually original, corrosion free, and retained its original floor which is rare for an E-Type roadster. Photographs on file confirm the condition of the car as it was before restoration work commenced. The restoration has been completed in September of this year by a renowned workshop specialising in Jaguar E-Types and lauded for the quality of their work. In July a 1500 km road test was carried out to iron out any imperfections and make adjustments as necessary, the vendor noting that 200 km/h was easily attainable!
