No need to introduce it, the Jaguar E-Type is THE car sculpture of the second half of the 20th century, it is the worthy heir of the various successes of the brand at Le Mans and in other car competitions. The first series of this model is an emblem, a jewel in the crown that left the public, the press and the competition speechless at its presentation in 1961. Splendid design and original lines, sporty mechanics, a bewitching and economical car.

The Type E adventure lasted for 15 years during which aesthetic and mechanical improvements followed one another to please the American market.
Always at the top of its glory, the Jaguar E-Type is a machine that is now elevated to the rank of myth that collectors and enthusiasts sacred; this model always has a place in a collection worthy of the name.

The example we offer you was produced in one of the last years of the 1st series before the restyling. It is not a simple restored E-Type; it is the result of several years of research to find a car in a bad condition but absolutely matching mechanically. Its former owner was then delivered a convertible car where corrosion and the ravages of time had done their work; it was presented in a white color with a black interior. From then on, the restoration work began, and everything was dismantled piece by piece, bolt by bolt.

In order to get the car back to its original color, the owner called the Jaguar archives who gave him a Heritage Trust showing that the car was delivered new to the United States in an ""Opalescent Golden Sand"" color which he had reapplied to the bodywork.

A very important file of photos showing all the work done on the Jaguar is available and delivered with the car.

Mechanically, the original engine of the car was disassembled and completely restored so that it could purr again. The keystroke numbers correspond to the technical review made by the Jaguar document.

A true demonstration of the Dutch restoration know-how, this E-Type is in a much better condition than when it left the dealership in 1967, every part, every bolt is new or rebuilt as witnessed by the important photo file that impressed us enormously. More than ready to go on the long summer roads, don't miss this unique car."
