With a modern facelift from the XR Falcon, it also featured a revised grille and taillight setup and introduced the Falcon series to split system brakes, a more dynamic tyre setup and electronic windscreen wipers. In addition to a few cosmetic exterior features, the interior showcased a wood-grain dash, new carpets giving it that top-of-the-line performance edge among the other models.
