Description
Beautiful Ford Capri 2600 RS. This specimen was built in February 1972 at the Ford plant in Cologne, Germany and then delivered new in Switzerland. This is the absolute top model from the Capri series, namely the 2600 RS version with the more than 150 hp 2600 V6 engine with Kugelfischer injection system. This was the basis for the Group 2 RS2600 used in the European Touring Car Championship, in which Ford was very successful. The RS was not only equipped with a fast engine, the suspension was adjusted, a close ratio gearbox was installed, along with ventilated disc brakes, aluminum rims and also light body panels were used. This RS has never been restored, but the RS is very well maintained and preserved in the Swiss way. The body is beautiful, free of damage and has good sheet metal. The underside is good, rust-free and original. The interior is largely original and well cared for. The RS has driven 121,896 kilometers and also documented with Swiss Abgas wartungs document. In short, a true cult car that is becoming rarer every day. To get a good impression of the car we advise you to come to one of the viewing days.
