Description
A very rare pre-war car made by Fiat in just over 700 units between 1912 and 1915 - Mechanics in working condition - Extraordinary original condition with conservative restoration work carried out over the years - The Ter is the sportiest version of the Fiat Type 3 model with a shortened wheelbase and a more powerful engine - Almost all the chassis built were set up as military vehicles, while a few examples were entrusted to various Turin coachbuilders for the construction of spider and torpedo cars - The model we present was bodied by Locati & Viarengo, an active and well-known body shop at the beginning of the last century - All the original accessories of the time are still present such as the retractable luggage rack, the additional headlights, the umbrella stand and the complete toolbox. The car participated in several events dedicated to pre-war cars until the end of the 90s and was then acquired by one of the greatest collectors of Italian classic cars, where it has remained for the last 25 years. The number 45 on the registration plate corresponded at the time to the province of Novara (in North Italy), in that period in fact the plate system with the initials of the provinces of registration did not yet exist.
