The 1995 Ferrari F50, chassis number 3355, is number 17 out of the 349 produced worldwide and one of only 31 finished in the striking Giallo Modena. At the heart of the F50 lies a 4.7-liter naturally aspirated Tipo 130B V12 engine, a direct descendant of the power unit used in the 1990 Ferrari 641 Formula One car. This engine powered Alain Prost to the brink of the World Championship and later found success in the Ferrari 333 SP, dominating the IMSA World Sports Car Championship with victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring.

The F50 made its American debut at Texas World Speedway, coinciding with an IMSA WSC event. The first example was delivered to Giuseppe Risi, a storied Ferrari racing entrant and owner of Ferrari of Houston.
