The F430 was the successor to the 360 Modena and debuted in 2004 at the Mondial de l'Automobile. The F430 has a V8 engine with 490 horsepower, which is almost 100 horsepower more than its predecessor. The engine is mid-mounted and, as with the 360, can be seen through a transparent engine cover.
