Description
Thoroughly serviced 16,600 mile Ferrari 355
An excellent final model year example of one of Ferraris most enjoyable mid engined sports cars. This V8 powered Italian beauty has the most extensive service history we've seen accompanying a 355, it's original books, tools and a clean Carfax.
This Car’s Past
The lucky first owner of this 355 FI1 Berlinetta took delivery on 7/7/97 in Houston Texas. The car remained in Texas until 2008 when it moved to California. It next appears in 2010, when it was offered for sale in California by Lamborghini guru Gary Bobileff; described as “1998 Ferrari 355 Berlinetta F1# ZFFXR41A3W0112742 Red with tan leather interior, clean car inside and out, 2 owner, Books, Tools and Records. 11,300 miles.” It appears that the car remained in California until 2015 when it was purchased by it's current owner, an avid Ferrari driver, collector and enthusiast with an eye for special cars.
History of The Model
Unveiled at the 1994 Geneva Motor Show, the F355 Berlinetta quickly became the benchmark in its class. The increased power of the new 5-valve per cylinder V8 was complemented by a truly exceptional chassis and an efficient, electronically controlled suspension. This synergy produced a car that delivered breathtaking handling and performance along with the kind of timeless, elegant Pininfarina lines enthusiasts had come to expect.
The F355 was a masterful piece of engineering as its 109 hp per litre specific power output attests. The car’s 3496 cc engine punched out 380 hp by adopting a new five-valve cylinder head. It's blistering performance figures were the result of aerodynamic honing that focused specifically on the underbody.

Summary
There aren't many cars in the $100k price range that can bring a smile to your face as quickly and as often as a 355 coupe. This is a great Ferrari to drive that still retains a raw feel and screaming engine. When purchasing a 355, there's one thing you want to see and that's a regular and comprehensive service history. This car has that and then some.
