Ferrari F355 GTS

Only the most thrilling stories are carried by man forever. Here’s a story about a gorgeous Ferrari F355 GTS: in 2016, Prins discovered that somewhere in Italy drove a beauty in Rosso Corsa with a manual transmission, eager to be found. Soon we got carried away by the spectacular looks, stunning condition, low mileage and pure sound of a natural aspired Ferrari V8. The whole package was newly delivered in Italy, but we wanted to give it a Dutch touch. So we did. Saying goodbye hurts. However, we had to after selling the F355 GTS to its 2nd (!) owner. Less than 7 years later, the romance and wonderful ambiance around the F355 GTS is still fully intact. Which is partly due to an almost unchanged low mileage of only 22,000 kilometers!

History
This beautiful collector's item was recently sold to Prins for another one: the former owner offered his bright red Ferrari F355 GTS and 550 Maranello in exchange for a 430 Scuderia. So yes, you could say it comes straight from a fan. About the F355: this unique GTS was originally delivered and maintained by Ferrari dealer Sa.Mo Car. Spa in Rome. Once in the Netherlands, the Prins specialists took care of the technical part. With pleasure. The classic supercar already was in great shape, but we recently did some final work to make it absolutely perfect. As you know, the history is included. And yet we can speak of a great surprise with this special offer. We rarely see them this magnificent!

Exterior
Choosing between the timeless design of a Berlinetta versus the open character of a Spider is almost impossible. Fortunately, Ferrari makes it a lot easier for us with the GTS: a Gran Turismo Spider version of the F355. The removable roof panel of our fiery red Rossa Corsa GTS cannot prevent the contours of the Berlinetta from being identical; exactly as you wish. Meanwhile, with the roof off there’s that extra driving dimension, comparable to the Spider version. Another striking detail is the dark Challenge Grille at the back. Like every other F355, the design is clean, sleek and curvy. The characteristic, typical 90s pop-up headlights are taken over from its predecessor, the 348. However, if there’s one model that symbolizes the beauty of Ferrari, it’s the F355!

Interior
You don’t want to change a classic recipe. That’s why this Ferrari F355 GTS is red on the outside and black on the inside. The Nero leather interior is in superb condition and contains amazing finesses. Absolute highlight is the aluminum gear shift finding its way in the amazingly milled shift wings of the manual gear pattern. A large part of the control units got a place in the wide tunnel console. Still, we prefer to look at the instrument panel: the shape isn’t only traditional, but also very typical F355 thanks to the classic gauges and meters with chrome finishes. Nice!

Technique & performance
We must cherish the timeless beauty of this Ferrari. Including its technique: the 3.5 liter 8-cylinder mid-engine is nothing but sensational. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h within 4.7 seconds isn’t record-breaking by today’s standards, but the way it’s done is forever legendary: the natural aspired Ferrari V8 roars, screams, howls and releases strong emotions inside and outside the cockpit. The GTS slides through its 6 manual gears until the 380 horses have reached a top speed of 295 km/h. For the ultimate Ferrari feeling, this is the machine you need! Sounds like a great investment in several ways…

Kind regards,
Prins Classics.
