Model history

Unveiled in 1994 the Ferrari F355 GTB is the successor of the mighty Ferrari 348. The car is an update to the 348 with exterior and performance changes. The Ferrari F355 used a 3.5L V8 with a 5-valve cilinder head, resulting in 375 hp (279 kW) at its peak. Apart from the engine the gearbox and chassis were taken care of.

The aerodynamics were analyzed with over 1300 hours inside the wind tunnel. As an example the front spoiler exploited the F355’s air flow in two ways. At its sides the flow was directed to the outside, in the centre, on the other hand, it was channelled under the car where it generated ground effect thanks to the flat smooth floor pan.

The F355’s seats are fitted asymmetrically, the driver being slightly closer to the center of the car, resulting in a better driving position.

This example

This spectacular Ferrari F355 GTB was delivered on 5 January 1995 at Ferrari Import Kroymans in Hilversum, Holland. The car has remained all it’s life in Holland. The car is beautifully finished in Rosso Corsa with black leather interior. Fitted with a manual gearbox this is considered the best possible combination for the 355.

In the past the exhaust manifolds have been replaced and the sticky switches were taken care of.
