Description
- One of only 30 six-speed manual-transmission 599 GTB Fioranos, and of just 10 delivered to Europe
- Odometer reads just 9,990 kilometres
- Finished in the desirable combination of Rosso Scuderia over Beige
- The final Ferrari V-12 model equipped with a manual transmission
The introduction of the 599 GTB Fiorano for the 2007 model year proved to be yet another monumental achievement for Ferrari. With its Enzo-derived, naturally aspirated 6.0-litre Tipo F140 V-12 engine producing 612 horsepower and 448-pound-feet of torque, the 599 GTB delivered exhilarating supercar performance in tandem with the supreme comfort one would expect of a generously appointed gran turismo.
The car signified the end of a very special era, as it was the last front-engined, 12-cylinder Ferrari available with a six-speed gated manual transmission, albeit produced in extremely limited numbers. A mere 30 of the 3,500-strong production run came with the manual ‘box, with the remainder equipped with a six-speed “F1” automated manual. Of those 30 cars, just 10 made their way to Europe.
This example was among that tiny cohort and represents a wonderful opportunity to own one of the most desirable Ferraris of recent times. It was delivered new to its first owner in Prague, Czech Republic, via the authorised Ferrari dealer, HP Exclusiv, in August 2007. Finished in iconic Rosso Scuderia over Beige, the 599 GTB Fiorano was equipped with an array of desirable options including carbon-ceramic brakes, Rosso Scuderia brake callipers, Daytona-style seats, Monolithic 20-inch wheels, and an internal electrochromic mirror.
Later returning to Ferrari Approved stock, the car was advertised for sale by Scuderia Praha A.S., who performed a service and replaced the clutch when the odometer read 9,954 kilometres in 2016. The consigning owner then bought the Ferrari from this dealership, and it was later taken to France. On 11 April 2023, the 599 GTB Fiorano was serviced by the Ferrari dealer, Charles Pozzi, at a cost of €3,546. Invoices for this work are available to view in this car's history file, alongside a Ferrari Certificate of Conformity issued for this vehicle in 2006. At the time of cataloguing, the odometer indicates only 9,990 kilometres have been driven.
Given how infrequently manual versions of the 599 GTB Fiorano come to market, particularly in Europe, fans of the marque will not want to miss out on the chance to add this magnificent piece of Ferrari history to their collection.
