Description
The Ferrari 575, the last incarnation of the Maranello, replaced the 550 in 2002 and was built with a only slightly modified coach work of the latter. The 575 received an enlarged engine though with now 5.75 litres resulting in the new name. “M” stood for “Modificato”. From 2003, the V12, delivering 515 horsepower, could be ordered with a automatic paddle shift 6 speed gearbox designated F1. A Maranello with this gearbox, noble leather interior, air conditioning and other luxury features cost around 300’000 francs in 2003. The example offered here was delivered in Switzerland and 1st registered on the 16th of October 2003. In June 2010, with then roughly 50’000 kilometres driven, the elegant sportster was taken over by the 2nd and so far last owner. As can be seen in receipts available, the car was always carefully and thoroughly maintained and, among other things, in 2012 the dashboard leather which had suffered through UV light was replaced. In 2023 the well-known problem with sticky buttons and switches was sorted as well and at the same time some minor paint issues were resolved. With two owners and 76’000 kilometres driven, a full service booklet and the complete document folder, the Ferrari, which received a cambelt change in 2021 at 73’577 kilometres, is in very good and carefully maintained condition. The noble Italian will be sold with the most recent MOT from October 2021.
