Presented in 1996 and succeeding the Ferrari 512 M, the 550 Maranello was marketed until 2001 at approximately 3080 copies. The fine, elegant and distinguished line, unanimously acclaimed for its design was designed by the master Pininfarina. The dual exhaust air slots on the front wings evoke those of the prestigious 250 GTO and 275 GTB. Scoring the primary vocation of the brand's creations, "competition", this model is in the traditional “Rosso Corso” red.
Elegant and low mileage, a rare interior combination mixing black leather and red fabric. Combining high performance and comfort of a new generation of coupés two-seater with front V-12 engine, which would later give birth to the fabulous 599 GTO.
The 550 was the last Ferrari fitted as standard with the legendary mechanical "grid" gears. At the wheel of this exceptional coupé, the fundamentals of pure sportiness that forged the Ferrari spirit are more symbolic.
