Description

Released at the Paris Motor Show in 1973, the 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer (BB) was the first 12 cylinder offering of a road car from Ferrari that featured a mid mounted engine layout.
Upping the ante from its predecessor, the 512 BB was released in 1976, packing an uprated 4.9 liter flat 12 engine, among other revisions.
Designed by Pininfarina, the wedge shaped silhouette paved a new direction in design for Ferrari and has since become synonymous with the era.
The 512 BB was one of the most exciting supercars of its era, using a Formula 1 derived power train.
By 1981, the 512 Berlinetta Boxer had ceased production, with only 929 units built.

This 512 BB, chassis 20903, is a European delivered example that was owned for many years by the late Jess Pourret, a renowned Ferrari historian, and author of multiple books on the marque.
At some point, Mr. Pourret repainted the Boxer in a stunning shade of Grigio Alloy and shipped it to Maranello for maintenance.

In 2014, showing just over 51,000 km, Philippe Gardette completed a timing belt service, as documented by invoices on file.

Today the car is in excellent overall condition and is visible in our facilities, upon appointment.
