Description

The 1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4 is a rare Ferrari model first unveiled at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show. The 365 GTC/4 was produced in a limited run of just 500 examples, making it extremely collectible today. The 365 GTC/4 shares many of the same mechanical components as the 365 GTB Daytona, including a 4,390cc V12 engine with four overhead camshafts producing 340 horsepower (352hp in the Daytona). The engine is mated to a conventional five-speed manual gearbox rather than a transaxle like the Daytona, which contributes to a more refined driving experience.

The example offered here is particularly rare and collectible since it was the official show car for Pininfarina at the October 1971 Paris Motor Show. It was supplied directly from Ferrari to Pininfarina for the Paris exhibition and then used by Pinifarina at several events. It was the imported by Pozzi and registered for the first time on February 14, 1972 in France, where it has remained until now. The history is completely known and the car has only had 4 owners. This Ferrari is the most sought-after European version in left-hand drive configuration with only 61549 original km's. This car's original colour scheme is Rosso Cherry, with a black leather interior. The vehicle is matching numbers and comes with the original manual, original registration and a copy of the inhouse Ferrari document verifying it is matching numbers. There is also a new inspection report, a new French technical control document and a documentation of the car's history by French car historian Marc Rabineau.

This car is just out of a collection since 1987 where it has seen very sparse use. It wears its mostly original paint with a restored interior. It has just undergone a major mechanical refurbishment at a cost in excess of 40000 Euros and is in excellent original condition. Today it drives very well and is ready for a new owner.
