Unveiled in 1999 to succeed the F355, the 360 Modena inaugurated at Ferrari a body made entirely of aluminum, thus taking a big step forward, particularly with the addition of on-board electronics. Also available in the Spider version, this variant required special attention at the Ferrari factory to maintain optimal rigidity (revised sills and windshield). As with the 360 Modena, aerodynamics was also a priority, requiring many hours of wind tunnel development by the designers. As a result, the 360 Spider managed to achieve a downforce of 170 kg at maximum speed (only 10 kg less than the Modena). Finally, on the engine side, we find a 3.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 developing 400 horsepower at 8,500 rpm with a sensational sound.

The example we are presenting today is a 360 Spider equipped with a manual gearbox and sold new in March 2001 by the Ferrari Switzerland network. Having only had 2 owners and a total of 48,000 km on the clock, this 360 Spider is in an excellent state of conservation inside and outside. In a sober “Nero Daytona” color, combined with a black leather, this 360 Spider is also equipped with optional 2-piece 18-inch BBS rims. Always maintained in the Ferrari network, the car also has its complete documentation as well as its original tool kit.
