Description

When the American team Scandia Motorsport decided to entry its Ferrari 333 sp (chassis numbers 003 and 010) at the 24h of Le Mans,
the owner, Andy Evans, commissioned a new bodywork to Dallara (who was in charge by Ferrari for the 333 project), just for his team,
expressly designed for a fast track like Le Mans.
The main modification concerned the side pods, which became taller than the original ones, requiring also the adjustment of the front
hood and the engine cover accordingly. Furthermore, a special monoplane rear wing was designed to match the new bodywork.
Three sets of "Le Mans" bodywork were prepared; two of them equipped the cars engaged at the 1996 Le Mans 24h and one was ready
as a spare. Car with racing number 17 was reserved to Belgian drivers Eric Van de Poele, Marc Goosens and Eric Bachelart, sponsored
by the Royal Automobile Club of Belgium (celebrating its centenary) and by 1001 Belgian private supporters. That's why the car had an
impressive decoration with RACB logo, Belgian flag colours and stickers "Racing for Belgium".
In 1998 team Scandia decided to stop its motorsport activity and team GLV Racing (founded by former F1 driver Giovanni Lavaggi)
bought car #003 plus several spares. Among them, the only one special Ferrari 333 "Le Mans" bodywork still in existence. The other two
were destroyed in several accidents during practices and/or races. GLV Racing never entered the car at the 24h of Le Mans: this unique
masterpiece has been stored and preserved in its original conditions for more than 25 years.
A document signed in his own hand by Engineer Giampaolo Dallara himself, certifies the authenticity of this unique masterpiece and the
truth of the above facts.

Installation
A smart installation has been created assembling the “Le Mans” bodywork parts with other original Ferrari 333 sp items, in order to give
the impression of a real car.
The items are positioned and supported by a black painted iron frame that can be partially disassembled. Ten small 360° pivoting wheels
allow displacement of the entire installation in any direction, without removing the car's wheels.

 Every part is in original race ware condition, untouched, except for those indicated with "*" in the installation manual which have been rebuilt according
to the original design.
 The decoration "racing for Belgium" has been partially restored. Some stickers (e.g. stickers and numbers on side pods) are
still the original ones.
