Description

1987 Ferrari 328 GTB
In 1985, Ferrari presented the successor to the highly successful 308 series at the IAA in Frankfurt: the Ferrari 328. As the basis for developing the 328, Ferrari started from the 308 concept. A whole series of modifications were made to the bodywork, chassis and engine.
A modernised bodywork was placed on top of a redesigned and galvanised chassis. The design of the hand-built bodywork showed a softening of the sharp and angular profile of its predecessor. But one of the biggest innovations was the 3.2L V8 engine that provided increased power and torque. The model name 328 therefore stood for 3.2 litres of displacement divided into eight cylinders.
By many Ferrari enthusiasts, the 328 is still considered one of the most reliable and functional models. Unlike many other Ferrari models of this era, much of the maintenance on the 328 could be done without having to dismantle the engine.
This beautiful GTB example is one of 1,344 ever built. Just over 6,000 of the GTS (Targa version) were built. Theoretically, 4.5 targas were then delivered per coupe, so the coupe version is a lot rarer than the targa variant.

On 7 March 1987, this 328 GTB was delivered to Ferrari dealer Charles Pozzi in Levallois, Paris.
In August 2020, after 33 years in the hands of French owners, the car was exported to Belgium. The complete toolkit filled with all original tools and the spare wheel are present. All booklets are present and still in the original folder made of quality Schedoni leather.
The car has always been neatly maintained. For example, the car received a new set of timing belts in 2018 by order of its last French-Swiss owner Manuel Nicolaïdis. Mr Nicolaïdis is a Porsche Cup pilot and thus a car fanatic at heart. After less than 3 years, in March 2021, this was carried out again in combination with a full check-up and maintenance. All around, the car still has the original paint and paint thickness, indicating an accident-free past.
For you, this could be an excellent opportunity to bring home an outstanding original, European and complete example of an iconic piece of Ferrari history with only 42.600 kilometers on the clock.
