Sold new on August 28, 1985, by Charles Pozzi, the Ferrari importer in France, to Leasico based in Strasbourg, this Ferrari 308 GTBi was soon sold to its first private owner on March 20, 1986, also in Strasbourg. He kept it until 2014, that is to say, for 28 years! Today, this car shows only 4,075 km, which explains its excellent original condition. Getting on board is a real journey through time. Its black leather upholstery has not aged a bit, it is flawless, like new, its engine bay is exceptionally clean, its doors perfectly aligned, in short, it is a real "time capsule", like the way Americans describe rare cars with such low kilometers. It is sold with its service logbook, its user manual, the list of Ferrari agents at the time, the user manual for the Blaupunkt Courchevel car radio and its complete tool kit. It is therefore a beautiful representative of the ultimate version of the Ferrari 308 GTB, a model launched in 1975 with a gorgeous Pininfarina body in line with the Dino 246 GT which it replaced and from which it differed by its V8 engine. When this engine had to comply with new emission standards and adopt fuel injection, it lost some power compared to the first GTB, so Ferrari took the bull by the horns and equipped it with cylinder heads with four valves per cylinder, hence its name "Quattrovalvole". In this configuration, it developed 240bhp and took this pretty berlinetta to 255 km/h. The example we are presenting is one of the last produced, almost as it left the factory, before it was replaced by the 328.
