With most Ferraris painted in Rosso Corsa, it is a pleasure to see a fine example of a Ferrari 308 finished in Giallo Modena (Yellow) over a black leather interior. Ferrari's Tipo F106 engine received four-valve per-cylinder heads (Quattrovalvole) in 1983, allowing the race-derived 2.9-liter fuel-injected V8 to produce 230 hp. Power is fed through a gated dogleg five-speed manual transmission for an unforgettable experience. Featuring the optional Targa roof, the character of this Ferrari can be changed whenever the desire strikes. Another benefit to this 1983 example is the use of 16" wheels from the factory, compared to the 1980-82 models with metric wheels, allowing for a greater tire selection. With a known chain of owners from new, this vibrant Ferrari, extremely rare in a shade other than red or black would be a standout at any of next year's RADwood events.
