  • Scored 99.5 points out of 100 and awarded Platinum and Coppa Bella Macchina at the 2018 Ferrari Club of America National Meet
  • Desirable European-delivery example fitted with a dry-sump-lubricated engine, sans US-market emissions equipment
  • Exceptionally well-documented, including its original service book
  • One of only 712 fiberglass 308s built

Introduced in 1975, the glamorous 308 GTB, designed by Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti, was the first Ferrari road car with a fiberglass—Vetroresina in Italian—body. Tipping the scales at a relatively light 2,315 pounds, these aerodynamic and well-balanced 308s have become an increasingly attractive choice for Ferrari enthusiasts looking for responsive performance and agile road-handling capabilities.

Built to European specifications for delivery to Germany, chassis number 20695 was delivered new to Bernard Kummer of Hadamar, Germany. Delivered on 14 February 1977, it was finished just as you see it today, in splendid Oro Chiaro over Tan leather interior, and delivered without a stereo or factory air conditioning. The car moved from Europe to California in the 1980s and found itself in the care of many noted marque aficionados including leading Ferrari restorer Patrick Ottis of Berkeley, California.

In 2009 the car moved to Canada, where a full restoration began to return it to as-new condition with the work entrusted to Rocks Automotive Restoration of Toronto, Ontario. Well-regarded in Canadian Ferrari circles as a 308 specialist, some 1,200 hours were spent on the restoration with great care taken in ensuring the car was factory-correct throughout.

Following completion of the 308’s restoration, it was taken to the Ferrari Club of America Annual Meet in 2018, held in Watkins Glen, New York. There, the car scored 99.5 points in judging and received a Platinum Award, Coppa Bella Macchina, and was additionally named the best “3-Series” Ferrari of the show. Reported to have been driven less than 1,000 kilometers since its restoration, chassis 20695 is accompanied by a set of manuals with correct pouch, tool kit, jack, and history file including receipts and photos of the car both before and during its restoration.

Owing to its impeccable restoration, this superb 308 GTB needs nothing but a passionate new owner looking for a tastefully liveried Ferrari that is certain to stand out from the crowd.

Please note that due to California emissions, this vehicle must be sold to a dealer or out-of-state resident.
