A 275 GTB/4 Berlinetta certainly needs no introduction, and by many it is considered to be one of the prettiest GT cars to come out of Maranello. Like so many Ferraris of the day, the 275 coachwork was penned by Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti with just 330 275 GTB/4 built. Affectionately known in Ferrari circles simply as “4-cam,” it is outfitted with a 3.3 litre Colombo V12 engine making 300hp, with 4 overhead cams and 6 Weber carburetors, all mated to a 5 speed transaxle gearbox with torque tube.

Our 4-cam was delivered new to USA importer Luigi Chinetti Motors and onward to West Coast distributor Modern Classic Motors, for delivery to its first owner Joyce Shannon of Upland, California. Ms. Shannon would go on to own the 4-cam for nearly four decades until selling it into a noted Northeast USA coachbuilt Ferrari collection, where the 4-cam would reside for the next dozen years. In 2018 some 50 years after being delivered new, just the third owner would commission an extensive refurbishment of 10613 with longtime Northern California collaborators, Patrick Ottis’ eponymous workshop and Brian Hoyt’s Perfect Reflections. Having gone to Rosso Corsa at some point, and being born Argento metallizzato with nero, the color selection was made for the spectacular period correct Grigio Ferro metallizzato with House of Lords Red. Upon completion of the comprehensive Patrick Ottis/Perfect Reflections project, and with life changing in a minute, the owner of 10613 made the decision to sell the 4-cam. As the fascinating collector car hobby turns, the next owner would be the very second owner of the 10613!

Having sold the 4-cam from the 2nd to the 3rd owner, and then again from the 3rd to the 4th (or 2nd) owner, we are so very pleased to once again be offering this exceptional 4-cam.
