Description
1962 Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 in good condition.
This is one of 974 vehicles of the 250GTE model produced. The founder of the brand, Enzo Ferrari, used one of these as his personal vehicle for several years.
The car was restored several years ago. Currently, it has some patina and minor flaws, all of which are shown in the pictures and which provide a high sense of originality to this car.
The paintwork looks very nice and is shiny, but there are some minor scuff marks which are shown in detail in the pictures. One of the rubber overriders of the front bumper is damaged, etc.
As shown in the photographs, this is a vehicle which has been kept in running condition, not a car restored in detail. There are now few Ferraris from the 60s with this level of originality.
The car was imported from the USA to Spain 3 years ago and it is currently registered in England. It is only used for maintenance, and it is briefly driven to keep it mechanically in perfect condition.
Mechanically, the car is in very good running order, starts at first attempt and the car is always stored connected to a battery maintainer. It is always kept in a private collection garage.
This car has been featured in an extensive article in the Spanish magazine ‘Motor Clásico’, in number 387 in May 2021.
You can view and collect this vehicle in Madrid, and it is available for those interested to check it. We have a car lift and place to make an in-depth inspection. This Classic Car is for sale on Catawiki. To have more information or to place a bid click on the "BID NOW" button.
