Through occupying the first three places in the 1964 Daytona 500 stock car race, Chrysler-owned Dodge occupied pole position in showrooms in the mid'' to late 1960s. Manufactured in 1967, this Dodge Coronet two-door, hardtop model in grey with black interior has been restored over several years. According to the vendor, a chassis number trace reveals that this is a Coronet VIP two-door hardtop from St Louis to 440 R/T specification and therefore with uprated 7.2-litre, eight cylinder motor, automatic transmission and power-assisted steering. Produced in smaller quantities than the Charger, the Coronet is statistically rarer and therefore much more sought-after by Dodge enthusiasts.
Accompanying this muscle car is an extensive document file containing a copy of the original build sheet, bills totalling £3,600 and £2,3
