Description
"The Dax Rush is a lightweight two-seater sports car that is offered as a kit around a multi-tube space frame chassis. It was a company called DJ Sports Cars International Ltd that built the first Dax Rush in 1991 in cooperation with the German company Mohr, who produced replicas of the Lotus Super Seven.
This Dax was built and registered in 1999 and has been modified to give outstanding performance. A significant history folder accompanies this car detailing the full specification, together with photographic evidence of an engine rebuild in 2012, circa 3,000 miles ago. The engine has Nikasil liners, group A pistons, Arrow crankshaft, Piper 651 camshafts and a multilayer head gasket. The transmission is a Samsonas five-speed sequential gearbox, the clutch is a twin plate racing unit and it comes with a detachable steering wheel with push button anti-lag control and launch control functions. It is easy to look at this car, read the specification and conclude it has ample power – however, this car has been dyno tested at 570bhp! We are advised by the vendor that this car is simply stunning to drive, whether on the road or on the track. Offering blistering performance it is thought this car can top 160mph (where permitted). The full specification is too comprehensive to list here, viewing is highly recommended.
The health and safety of both our customers and team remains the utmost priority, we are therefore operating to Government guidelines throughout viewing and auction day."
