Description

Offered for sale; this very neat Citroën AMI Le Patron.

''Le Patron 2CV kitcar, a way of life''

In 1988, ''Van Den Bergh Motoren'' was established in the village of Ophemert. This company specialised in the well-known Citroën 2CV.

Soon the idea came up to design a special kit for the 2CV, which would give this car a more unique look. The Lomax 223 was born. In 1997 the import of the Lomax in the Netherlands came to an end and the company switched to the new and improved version; the Le Patron. In August 1997 the name Le Patron was chosen before the first car was produced, so that the marketing around the car could begin. Sales of the first kits began in 1998 and soon the sales of the Le Patron surpassed those of the Lomax.

Always wanted a nice open-top car? This converted AMI to a Le Patron is then the ideal car. There is nice weather coming and what is more fun to get the car out of the garage and drive around in the sun. Driving pleasure is guaranteed with this Le Patron.

The car comes with a full history, including all invoices from the conversion to a Le Patron. It shows that the car was converted in August 2007. The odometer shows 508 kilometres, which means that the car has not been driven much since the conversion. This is also reflected in the condition, because this Le Patron still looks fantastic. The paintwork does not show any damage or rust and the interior does not show any defects either.

The car has a deep, dark green colour and features the brown leather bucket seats. In addition, the car comes with the original cockpit cover.

A large number of invoices are present with the car. These show that after the conversion to Le Patron, over €2,200 worth of maintenance was done.

In short, this Citroën Le Patron is in excellent condition and is waiting for a new owner who will enjoy this car enormously, especially with this weather. The car can be viewed in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel.
