French title
The Citroën 2CV should have been released in 1939 but the Second World War forced the French manufacturer to postpone the release of its very cheap car. Its mission will be to put France on wheels. During the war, Citroën continues the development of its project. It is only in 1948 that the 2CV is officially presented to the public and the press. The public was initially confused. Quickly the new small popular car is nicknamed ""the sardine can"". The characteristics are simple: 4 doors, 4 seats, 60 km/h, 5 liters per 100 km, 50 kg of luggage.
Another advantage of the 2CV is its low price of 185,000 francs, while its competitor, the 4CV, is sold at 285,000 francs. The 2CV is so ingeniously designed and has been so successful that it is now a car myth.
This 2CV is an AZ type painted in a beautiful water green, it is in good general condition and presents well. In the city as in the country, the 2Cv will accompany you everywhere, to you the sweet trips this summer!"
